1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the digital voting process for the RIL Campus Crown Awards (RCCA) organized by RIL Global Limited (“RIL Global”, “we”, “our”, or “the Organizer”).

By casting a vote on the RCCA platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. About RCCA Voting

The RCCA digital voting system is designed to:

·         Enable public participation in selecting Campus Ambassadors

·         Encourage student engagement across institutions

·         Support the organization of RCCA programs

·         Contribute to post-event campus impact initiatives through the RIL Global Foundation

Voting is conducted through our official website and designated payment channels only.

3. Voting Fees

Voting may include:

·         In-house institutional nomination voting: ₦100 per vote (where applicable)

·         Official RCCA digital voting: ₦200 per vote

All voting payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases of proven technical error attributable to the Organizer.

4. Eligibility to Vote

To vote, you must:

·         Provide accurate contact details

·         Use legitimate payment methods

·         Not engage in fraudulent or automated voting systems

Votes generated through bots, automation tools, or suspicious bulk manipulation may be invalidated.

5. Vote Counting & Transparency

·         Each confirmed payment equals one valid vote.

·         Votes are recorded digitally and reflected on the platform leaderboard.

·         RIL Global Limited reserves the right to audit votes at any time.

·         Any detected irregularity may lead to vote cancellation or contestant disqualification.

The Organizer’s final vote count decision shall be binding.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

Voting does not guarantee that a contestant will win.
Final results may be determined based on:

·         Public votes

·         Judges’ scoring (where applicable)

·         Compliance with competition rules

·         Integrity review outcomes

The weighting system (if applicable) will be determined by the Organizer.

7. Payment Processing

Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.

RIL Global Limited:

·         Does not store full card details

·         Is not responsible for bank-side transaction delays

·         Is not liable for network failures beyond its control

In case of double debit, voters should contact their financial institution first before escalating to the Organizer.

8. Refund Policy

Votes are generally non-refundable because:

·         Voting is a voluntary contribution

·         Payment confirms immediate digital allocation

·         Revenue supports event execution and campus initiatives

Refunds may only be considered if:

·         There is a verified system malfunction

·         Duplicate transaction occurred due to platform error

All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of RIL Global Limited.

9. Fraud & Misconduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

·         Use of bots or automated voting systems

·         Payment fraud or chargeback abuse

·         Identity falsification

·         Coordinated vote manipulation schemes

RIL Global Limited reserves the right to:

·         Cancel suspicious votes

·         Disqualify contestants benefiting from fraudulent activity

·         Take legal action where necessary

10. Data Usage

By voting, you consent to:

·         Collection of your name and contact details

·         Storage of payment confirmation records

·         Use of anonymized voting data for reporting and transparency

11. Intellectual Property

All RCCA logos, content, branding materials, and digital assets remain the intellectual property of RIL Global Limited.

Unauthorized reproduction or misuse is prohibited.

12. Limitation of Liability

RIL Global Limited shall not be liable for:

·         Network disruptions

·         Payment gateway downtime

·         Technical glitches beyond reasonable control

·         Indirect or consequential damages

Participation in voting is at the voter’s own discretion.

13. Modification of Terms

RIL Global Limited reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with the effective date.

Continued participation implies acceptance of revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
